Mobile web

62Fair

The phone experience as a first-class citizen.

Mobile web annotations on the mobile capture123
  1. Truncated headline text — The headline reads only "high-quality mobile apps" — the word "Prototype" from the desktop headline is cut off, leaving a sentence fragment as the value statement.
  2. Serif headline oversized — The serif headline scales down poorly, wrapping into two very large lines that push the prompt box toward the bottom of the viewport.
  3. Small circular submit button — The primary action is a small desktop-proportioned icon circle instead of a full-width labeled button, and its faint lilac fill reads as disabled.

Information hierarchy

64Fair

Does the design help or inhibit what the page is trying to say?

Information hierarchy annotations on the desktop capture1234
  1. Seven-link navigation row — Seven equal-weight nav links (About, Docs, Pricing, Shopify, Gallery, Blog, Community) siphon attention before the prompt box, the fold's real conversion surface.
  2. Headline over busy background — The serif 'Prototype high-quality mobile apps' headline sits directly on a saturated multicolor collage with no scrim, cutting its legibility and glanceability.
  3. Small send button — The pale lavender paper-plane submit is tiny and low-contrast, so the action that completes the prompt-box flow is the least visible control in the fold.
  4. Language selector and toggles — The English dropdown plus sun/moon theme toggles add three utility controls beside the 'Start Building' CTA, diluting its corner of the scan path.

Value props

Title, subtitle, hero — do they sell the product's true value?

Fastshot’s headline undersellsPrototype high-quality mobile appsAnd ship them to iOS and Android app stores without code, powered by AI.

Working

  • Subhead names concrete outcome: ship to both stores
  • Prompt box demos the product, not decoration
  • YC badge and engineer logos add proof

Could improve

  • 'Prototype' undersells shipping real apps
  • No numbers: time, apps built, or users
  • Mobile clips headline to a fragment

CTA

Copy, size, verb, cost-feel — does the primary CTA earn the click?

Problems

  • icon-only submit, no label
  • placeholder lacks instruction
  • no verb in placeholder copy
