Mobile web

44Poor

The phone experience as a first-class citizen.

Mobile web annotations on the mobile capture1234
  1. Body copy overflows viewport — The subhead "Promptless suggests doc updates when Promptless…" is clipped at the right edge — text is not wrapping to the phone column.
  2. Get a demo button clipped — The primary CTA runs off the right edge, showing only "Get a d…" — the form row did not stack for mobile.
  3. Integration icon row clipped — The toolchain logo strip overflows the viewport with an icon cut in half at the right edge and an orphan icon wrapping below.
  4. Two-row toggle eats fold — The "for customer-facing docs / for agent instructions" segmented control stacks into a tall block that pushes the headline down.

CTA

62Fair

Copy, size, verb, cost-feel — does the primary CTA earn the click?

Promptless
GitBook
Build site
ReadMein-product action
Mintlify
Fern

Problems

  • demo ask feels costly
  • conflicts with 'Start for free' nav
  • email field gates the click
  • no payoff copy on email input

Trust

62Fair

Proof that the product is real, competent, and safe to try.

Trust read
PromptlessTestimonial: "Promptless dramatically speeds up my time-to-first-draft… my team literally calls me a 10x tech writer." —
MintlifyDetailed real product screenshot of the Mintlify docs UI showing the "Quickstart Guide" ('Start building intelligent doc

Information hierarchy

68Fair

Does the design help or inhibit what the page is trying to say?

Information hierarchy annotations on the desktop capture1234
  1. Three competing CTAs — "Start for free" fights the header and hero "Get a demo" buttons for the same click, splitting intent three ways.
  2. Six-link nav row — Home, Pricing, Docs, Blog, Changelog, and Free tools all offer exits before the visitor reaches the headline.
  3. Faded testimonial column — Cards are dimmed and cropped mid-sentence, so credible proof (Runpod quote) reads as broken placeholder content.
  4. Underlined benefit links — Dotted underlines make "Follows Promptless's style guide" and siblings look clickable, adding three more exits mid-pitch.

Value props

78Fair

Title, subtitle, hero — do they sell the product's true value?

Promptless’s headline sellsWrite the docs. Skip the busywork.Promptless suggests doc updates when your product changes. You review, edit, and ship.

Working

  • Names the pain: doc busywork
  • Subhead explains the mechanism
  • Proof points add concrete features

Could improve

  • No numbers anywhere in the fold
  • Hero shows testimonials, not product
  • '10x' quote buried in side column
