Mobile web

55Fair

The phone experience as a first-class citizen.

The mobile capture is missing, so Workers IO is graded from responsive signals in the desktop capture only and the score is capped. The desktop fold is a good sign: one clear value statement ("Simulation Environments for Verifying Mission Critical Software"), a sparse three-link nav, and a single "Book a Demo" CTA suggest a layout that should collapse cleanly. Two risks are visible: the primary "Book a Demo" button lives only in the header, so on a phone it likely hides behind a hamburger and vanishes from the first viewport, and the floating chat prompt "What reliability problems does Wo…" sits low-center where it would crowd thumb territory on mobile. The biggest lever is shipping a verified mobile capture with a full-width "Book a Demo" button placed in the hero, not just the nav.

CTA

Copy, size, verb, cost-feel — does the primary CTA earn the click?

Problems

  • 'demo' implies sales call cost
  • nav-sized, no hero-level CTA
  • competes with floating chat input
  • chat submit is unlabeled arrow

Information hierarchy

72Fair

Does the design help or inhibit what the page is trying to say?

Information hierarchy annotations on the desktop capture1234
  1. Book a Demo button — Small black button pinned to the far top-right corner sits outside the hero scan path; no CTA repeats near the headline.
  2. Chat input overlay — Floating "What reliability problems..." prompt competes with the demo CTA and covers the hero illustration mid-fold.
  3. GitHub repo link — workersio/skills link sits directly beside the primary CTA at equal prominence, leaking developer attention off-site.
  4. Hero circuit illustration — Large diagram occupies the lower half of the fold without a caption or product framing to explain what it depicts.

Value props

72Fair

Title, subtitle, hero — do they sell the product's true value?

Workers IO’s headline sellsSimulation Environments for Verifying Mission Critical SoftwareDeterministic virtual machines to verify your entire system under millions of realistic production scenarios.

Working

  • Names category and audience precisely
  • "Deterministic" is a credible technical hook
  • "Millions of scenarios" signals scale

Could improve

  • No emotional stake — outage fear untapped
  • No hard numbers or customer proof
  • Hero graphic decorates, doesn't demo
