Value props

58Fair

Title, subtitle, hero — do they sell the product's true value?

Greypoint Industries’s headline vagueMANUFACTURING THE FUTURE OF AUTONOMOUS WARFAREGreypoint sees every signal, tracks every threat, and enables friendly forces to act first.

Working

  • Subhead names a real outcome: act first
  • Bold, confident category positioning
  • "Backed by YC" adds credibility signal

Could improve

  • Headline could caption any defense firm
  • No numbers, platform names, or proof
  • Hero image shows soldiers, not product

CTA

62Fair

Copy, size, verb, cost-feel — does the primary CTA earn the click?

Greypoint Industries
Epirus
Palantir Technologies

Problems

  • noun label, no action verb
  • click feels like a meeting commitment
  • payoff of the click is unstated

Information hierarchy

72Fair

Does the design help or inhibit what the page is trying to say?

Information hierarchy annotations on the desktop capture1234
  1. Duplicate Briefing CTA — The nav 'Briefing' button repeats the hero CTA at equal visual weight, splitting the single-action scan path.
  2. Contact secondary button — Sits beside 'Briefing' at near-identical size; the outlined style is a second exit that dilutes the primary action (also duplicated in the nav).
  3. Nav link cluster — Mission, Product, and Press plus two buttons put five exits above the fold before the visitor reaches the hero CTA.
  4. Hero body copy — White text over the light haze of the photo drops contrast on 'sees every signal, tracks every threat', weakening the supporting value prop.

Mobile web

72Fair

The phone experience as a first-class citizen.

Mobile web annotations on the mobile capture1234
  1. Briefing CTA placement — Primary CTA sits far below the first viewport, leaving nothing tappable on landing.
  2. Small Briefing button — Desktop-proportioned button floats at a fraction of column width instead of full-bleed thumb size.
  3. Ghost Contact button — Thin outline over the sepia photo makes the secondary CTA nearly invisible and hard to read.
  4. Subheadline over photo — White body text crosses busy dark-and-light image areas, reducing legibility mid-sentence.
