Value props

32Poor

Title, subtitle, hero — do they sell the product's true value?

Cohesion’s headline vagueMODERN INTELLIGENCE FOR FINANCE

Working

  • YC badge lends credibility
  • Names the finance vertical
  • Short and confident tone

Could improve

  • No subhead explaining the product
  • Zero specifics or numbers
  • Skyline image shows nothing

Trust

42Poor

Proof that the product is real, competent, and safe to try.

Copy, size, verb, cost-feel — does the primary CTA earn the click?

Problems

  • gated 'request' feels costly
  • no CTA in the hero itself
  • ghost outline, low visual weight
  • small vs. massive headline

Mobile web

58Fair

The phone experience as a first-class citizen.

Mobile web annotations on the mobile capture123
  1. Uncollapsed header nav — Full desktop link row (CONTACT, LOG IN, REQUEST ACCESS) crammed into the phone header instead of a hamburger.
  2. Small REQUEST ACCESS button — Primary CTA is a desktop-proportioned outline button squeezed top-right, not a full-width thumb target in the content.
  3. Headline placed low — "MODERN INTELLIGENCE FOR FINANCE" starts near mid-screen, delaying the value statement on first glance.

Information hierarchy

64Fair

Does the design help or inhibit what the page is trying to say?

Information hierarchy annotations on the desktop capture1234
  1. Headline without subtitle — "Modern Intelligence for Finance" has no supporting line explaining what Cohesion actually does, so the fold communicates category but not product.
  2. Log In nav link — Styled at similar weight and sits directly beside "Request Access", giving returning-user traffic equal billing with the conversion action.
  3. Footer social icons — LinkedIn, email, and YC icons creep into the fold's bottom-right corner, adding three outbound exits that compete with the CTA.
  4. Request Access button — Ghost-outline treatment over a dark photo makes the only conversion button low-contrast and easy to scan past.
