## Overview

We build self-modifiable systems: models, agents, and software that can change how they work. Our open-source projects include **Libretto**, a browser and toolkit for coding agents to inspect websites, build reliable automations, and maintain web integrations; and **Halo**, a desktop workspace for building custom interfaces with AI agents, with a built-in design system and sync engine.

Our landing page received a **Growth Score of 53 out of 100**, updated **September 21, 2026**. The weakest category is **CTA**, scored **44**.

## CTA — 44, Poor

The CTA review evaluates copy, size, verb, and perceived cost: whether the primary CTA earns the click.

Our primary action is the inline text link **“get in touch.”** The report identifies these problems:

- It is an inline text link rather than a button.
- It has no visual dominance on the page.
- A contact click feels costly.
- It competes with links of equal visual weight.

### CTA category ranking

1. Steel — 86
2. Browserbase — 78
3. Browser Use — 76
4. Stagehand (Browserbase) — 68
5. Cashew Labs — 44

## Trust — 48, Poor

The trust review concerns proof that a product is real, competent, and safe to try.

We are described as founded by alumni of **Palantir, Carnegie Mellon University, and Y Combinator**.

The comparison examples are:

| Company or product | Trust signal described |
|---|---|
| Cashew Labs | Founded by alumni of Palantir, Carnegie Mellon University, and Y Combinator |
| Browserbase | “10,000+ companies building beyond the API,” with Microsoft, DeepMind, Amplitude, Ramp, Clay, and Lovable logos |
| Browser Use | Logo wall with Anthropic, Apple, Datadog, DeepMind, DHL, FedEx, Flexport, and Google |
| Steel | “1,000,000+ Browser Hours Served” usage statistic in the metrics bar |
| Stagehand (Browserbase) | Wall-clock benchmark comparing Stagehand with Playwright: 97ms vs 364ms for a click and 4.7s vs 9.0s for a batch |

### Trust category ranking

1. Browser Use — 76
2. Browserbase — 72
3. Stagehand (Browserbase) — 68

## Value props — 52, Fair

The review asks whether the title, subtitle, and hero sell the product’s true value.

Our headline is **“Cashew Labs”**, followed by:

> We build self-modifiable systems: models, agents, and software that can change how they work.

### Working

- Honest, with no buzzword inflation.
- Product bullets are concrete.
- Credible founder pedigree is listed.

### Could improve

- The headline is only the company name.
- No outcome or benefit is named.
- The illustration decorates rather than demonstrates.

### Value-props category ranking

1. Stagehand (Browserbase) — 84
2. Browserbase — 78
3. Steel — 78
4. Browser Use — 72
5. Cashew Labs — 52

## Mobile web — 58, Fair

The review assesses the phone experience as a first-class citizen.

1. **“get in touch” text link:** Our only CTA is a small inline text link mid-sentence; there is no thumb-friendly, full-width button.
2. **Libretto list item:** A four-line open-source description competes with the value statement inside the first viewport.

## Information hierarchy — 62, Fair

The review evaluates whether the design helps or inhibits what the page is trying to say.

1. **“get in touch” link:** The sole conversion action is an inline text link mid-sentence, styled like outbound project links, making it hard to see in a one-second scan.
2. **Libretto and Halo links:** Two outbound links have the same visual weight as the contact action and appear higher in the scan path, drawing attention away from conversion.
3. **Cashew Labs heading:** The wordmark is body-sized bold text, so the page lacks typographic hierarchy; the headline, sections, and lists have nearly equal visual weight.
