# Postmates Passkey Setup

We document the passkey setup flow from Postmates in our Flow Library. This page concerns Postmates and its passkey setup experience; it is not a Postmates account-setup guide.

**Flow details**

- **Six steps** in the complete flow
- **Category:** Other Flows
- **Updated:** February 2026
- **Displayed coverage:** five of the six screens are shown here

The flow shows the following visible screens:

1. A **Create a passkey** screen offering passkey setup with device authentication options including Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode, plus an option to set up the passkey.
2. A follow-up **Create a passkey** screen with an **Add a passkey?** prompt.
3. An **Add a passkey?** confirmation prompt explaining that passkeys provide a faster, stronger alternative to passwords and can be used to sign in; the prompt includes an option to save or continue with another option.
4. An error state stating **Unable to sign in** and that the operation cannot be completed.
5. A black loading or transition screen displaying the Postmates bicycle graphic.
