# Cnn Sign up

We catalog the step-by-step sign-up experience from Cnn as a nine-step user flow. The flow is categorized as **Sign Up** and was updated in **February 2026**. It contains nine screens; five are shown here, and four additional screens are available through Lazyweb access.

## Captured screens

The five available screens show these stages and visible interface states:

1. **News edition selection:** Cnn asks users to select the news most relevant to them, with **U.S. Edition** and **International** choices, followed by **Next**.
2. **Alert preferences:** An “Alerts that matter to you” screen offers topic toggles, including Breaking News, Top Headlines, U.S. Politics, Race and Inequality, Business and Tech, and Entertainment. The screen includes **Save and continue** and **Skip (no alerts)**.
3. **Terms and privacy:** A consent screen presents **Terms of Use**, **Privacy Policy**, and **Agree** actions.
4. **Settings and account access:** Cnn settings include options to sign in or sign up for a Cnn account, subscribe, manage privacy, access Live TV, select editions, and enable dark mode. The visible settings screen also includes a **Help with subscriptions** option.
5. **Account creation:** The sign-up screen requests an email address and password, shows password requirements, and offers **Continue with Apple** and **Continue with Google**. The visible form also includes a sign-up action.
