# Artsy Allow location access

We catalog and explain product flows in Lazyweb, our design-research library of real, in-market app screens, flows, and A/B tests. This entry covers Artsy’s **allow location access** flow, which shows how the Artsy app requests location permission and what follows that request.

- **Category:** Other Flows
- **Length:** 3 steps
- **Updated:** February 2026
- **Screens shown:** 3 of 3

## Flow screens

The sequence shown is:

1. An Artsy home or discovery screen with artwork listings.
2. An in-app location-permission prompt asking to allow Artsy to use the device location. The visible choices are **Allow Once**, **Allow While Using App**, and **Don’t Allow**.
3. An Artsy “Galleries for You” screen displaying gallery recommendations after the location-access step.
