The free app includes: - Accurate hourly and daily weather forecasts. - All-in-one weather maps. - Ski, snow, and mountain-sports information. - Rain, snow, wind, and lightning radar. - Weather alerts and rain and thunderstorm tracking. - Local air-quality forecasts (AQI). - Personalized notifications for the user’s area. - A weather widget. ### Weather map and forecast The weather map supports real-time and future rain, snow, and storm conditions down to city and county level, plus real-time lightning tracking as thunderstorms approach. Local, national, and global maps cover rain, snow, temperature, and wind. Free detailed hourly and daily forecasts include feels-like temperature, UV index, and rain amounts, with a 14-day forecast trend. ### Snow and winter sports The app provides ski, snow, and other winter-sports information for major ski locations in the United States. ### Alerts and notifications Weather alerts use weather modelling and storm-tracking technology to provide updates about dangerous severe weather, snow, ice, and hurricane threats in or near the user’s area. Personalized local notifications are tailored to the exact location. ### Coastal conditions and 90-minute trend The app provides lake and ocean temperatures, plus frequently updated beach and nearshore weather, wind, wave, and tide conditions. Its 90-minute nowcast combines local observations and high-resolution forecast models to estimate the movement and timing of rain or storms around the user. ### UV, air quality, widgets, and world weather Users can view localized UV-index levels and forecasts and AQI information. The weather widget displays the current-location forecast on the device home screen, offers four widget formats, and can be scaled. Users can save any location and view current conditions for any number of global locations.
