## About Rise

Rise is a subscription-based consumer sleep and energy app. Its tagline is “The power behind your next best day. RISE makes it easy to improve your sleep and daily energy to reach your potential.” Rise uses sleep data, circadian-rhythm information, and research to provide personalized guidance about sleep habits, energy, and optimal sleep windows.

Rise says it has more than 10 million users and uses 100 years of sleep science. The app measures sleep debt and energy levels and offers:

- Sleep tracking and sleep-debt measurement
- Circadian-rhythm and energy insights
- Personalized recommendations based on sleep data and research
- Guidance for bedtime, difficulty falling asleep, waking during the night, and morning grogginess
- Information about melatonin windows, naps, late nights, and sleep priorities
- Widgets and calendar integration
- Sleeping sounds and meditation guides
- Smart alarm clocks and habit reminders
- A sleep knowledge library

Rise says its algorithms identify optimal sleep windows and that 83% of its users feel more energy within a week or less. Through Apple Health, Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura, Sleep Cycle, ShutEye, and other phone sleep-tracker data, Rise can determine nightly sleep hours, sleep debt, daily steps, and other activity data affecting sleep patterns.

Rise’s App Store description says the product is recommended by the Sleep Foundation and trusted by teams in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and top Fortune 500 companies. It includes community examples from Chase M. and Becky G.; these are customer statements, not Rise performance figures.

Rise says it was started to address insufficient sleep and cites CDC (2014), Cappuccio (2010), and RAND (2016) in its description.
