## Geozilla app capabilities

Geozilla is a family-location app intended to help people keep loved ones safe and request or provide assistance when needed. Its listed capabilities include:

- Locate family members using phone GPS.
- Know when family members leave or arrive at a place.
- See where family members have been during the day.
- Know whether they are speeding or using their phone while driving.
- Check in to assure family members that you are safe.
- Text and share images throughout the day.

### Smart Location History

- Access the daily location history of any member of your circle.
- Leave check-ins and comments so family members know you are safe and what you are doing.

### Emergency Alert

- Notify family immediately when a member is in danger and needs help.
- If a family member’s battery is running low, an emergency contact added in Geozilla can receive that member’s location information when it is needed.

## Free and Premium access

The complete functionality is available in a free version. **Geozilla Premium** is available by subscription and adds:

- Unlimited location alerts
- Unlimited circles
- Driver Protection for the entire family
- Two weeks of location history for all family members
- Adjustable location schedules for family members
- Family geo reminders
- An option to stop sharing your location

Premium is a paid plan that renews automatically every billing period. Prices may vary by location. The subscription renews to a paid subscription unless auto-renewal is turned off. Payment is charged to the iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Auto-renewal must be turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; renewal is charged within 24 hours before that period ends. After purchase, subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal can be turned off in the phone’s Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when another subscription is purchased.

## Permissions, privacy, and battery behavior

Location tracking requires explicit consent from every circle member. Permission must be obtained before adding anyone to a tracking circle; tracking someone without their knowledge or consent may violate privacy laws in the applicable jurisdiction.

Optional permissions are requested for:

- **Location services:** Inform circle members of your current location.
- **Notifications:** Inform you about family location changes.
- **Contacts:** Find other users to join your circle.
- **Photos and Camera:** Change your profile picture.

Significant Location Change (SLC) keeps the app in sleep mode until you have moved significantly, helping reduce battery drain. Continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
