It helps drivers find nearby stations, get directions, start and manage charging sessions, and monitor charging from a phone. It is compatible with CarPlay. Public-charging functions include: - Finding Electrify America charging stations and locating the nearest station. - Seeing real-time charger availability and receiving notification when a charger becomes available. - Paying contact-free through the app. - Favoriting frequently used charging stations. - Starting and stopping charging from the phone. - Tracking charging status while shopping or dining nearby. - Receiving notification when the EV reaches a desired state of charge. - Viewing charging history and receiving emailed receipts. ### Memberships and pricing - **Free Electrify America Pass Membership:** Includes real-time charger availability, availability notifications, contact-free in-app payment, favorite stations, phone-based start and stop controls, charging-status tracking, desired-state-of-charge notifications, charging history, and emailed receipts. - **Electrify America Pass+:** Costs **$7 per month** and is described as saving **about 25% on charging**, while retaining the benefits listed for the free Pass membership. ### Vehicle and charger compatibility Electrify America's DC fast charging stations support EVs compatible with **CCS (SAE Combo)** and **CHAdeMO**. The app can also locate Electrify America's **Level 2** chargers with **J1772** connectors. The service supports **14+ major automakers** and is described as compatible with most EVs on the road, including the Volkswagen ID.4, Ford Mustang Mach-E, and BMW i4. ### Plug&Charge Electrify America offers Plug&Charge at all of its DC fast chargers.
