Entries can be organized into multiple journals, journaling goals can be tracked with insights and streaks, and journals can sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac using iCloud. ### Get started writing with journaling suggestions - Choose suggested moments for an entry, including intelligently grouped outings, photos, workouts, media, and more. - Use writing prompts to guide insights. - Use reflection prompts focused on gratitude, kindness, purpose, and more. - Suggestions use on-device intelligence based on iPhone use; people choose which information to enable. - Suggestions created on iPhone sync securely to iPad. ### Preserve memories in rich detail - Add photos, videos, and places, and place attachments within entry text. - Add lettering, sketches, and doodles with a finger or Apple Pencil on iPad, including handwritten entries. - Record voice directly into a journal and have it transcribed automatically, or record surroundings for context. - Format text with lists, quotes, and various text styles. - Add a Home Screen or Lock Screen widget showing a current streak or changing writing prompts. - Start entries with content from News, Music, Safari, and other apps. - Create multiple journals, each with a custom name and icon. ### Enjoy past moments - Browse, search, and sort the journal. - Find past entries with the calendar. - Use the Places view to see entries written at a location or made nearby. -
