We analyzed 4,406 paywall CTAs across 252 tracked mobile apps in July 2026. Only 42 CTAs across 6 companies used “welcome back,” “come back,” or “we miss you” framing, so we treat the result as named anecdotes rather than a percentage benchmark. The clearest true win-back examples are LinkedIn’s “Reactivate Premium: 50% Off” and Headway’s post-trial “Continue 50% off.” Calm showed a 40% welcome offer, and Loona showed a 40% secret deal with a Decline option. For a lapsed-subscriber test, we recommend 50% off as hypothesis one and 40% off as a lighter alternative, while separating reactivation, first-session welcome, and declined-paywall audiences. Only 8 of 795 detected experiments touched win-back, welcome-back, second-chance, or declined surfaces.

Required inputs: none

Local setup command: curl -fsSL https://www.lazyweb.com/install.sh | bash
Browser setup: https://www.lazyweb.com/mcp-install
Full guide: https://www.lazyweb.com/developers.md
Authenticated MCP: https://www.lazyweb.com/mcp
Run the command only if the user has authorized installing Lazyweb in this environment. Otherwise obtain that authorization first. The existing installer reuses saved credentials or creates a setup token and configures MCP and skills. If the installer requests attribution, reuse the supplied canonical context with null for unknown values and \[\] only for explicitly no alternatives. Keep context in JSON bodies, never URL query strings. Hosted agents without a shell should use the browser setup link. Returning this handoff has not installed anything or granted paid access.
